Just wondering how many people are using the Titan Amanda, what sort of overclocks/temps are you getting? I would like to see if it is actually better than what most of the forums state - just doesnt seem to be enough users to justify the info really.

Would appreciate any data, thanks.
 
3.8ghz - 1.55v - E6600 (lower temps than my watercooling kit)
idle temps - 34degrees
load temps - 48degrees (running orthos)

Well its really bugging me, had a Tuniq Tower sat here for 2 months while awaiting this damn Abit IN9 32X-MAX to be released lol, anyway placing an order for a Titan Amanda lol. :rolleyes:
 
I pushed my cpu up and need one as well. But how it compares to the rest TEC based coolers? Like the Freezone or Eliminator from CoolIT for example.

The Orthos figure - is that Blend or Gromacs? On mine for some reason Gromacs puts the temperature up far higher than blend.
 
With my titan amanda both my cores (e6600 @ 3.6 Ghz/1.5v) idle at 24-25 degrees, 38-40 degrees after constant load with Prime95 for a few hours...

I prime using blend mode, remember results will always vary. Some C2D's run hotter than others due to less than perfect heat spreaders or thermal materials used. I've used the titan's own thermal paste which comes with it, which is said to be very good too.

It's all coming out now....! looks like the Titan Amanda really is the sleeping giant of coolers, just needed to be awoken by a few people who dont listen to false underated hype! ;)

I'll have mine soon! will post results! who needs water cooling...! :p
 
The one thing to be noted with the Titan though is you MUST have decent airflow through the case for similar results!

It's no good dumping all your case fans, as a large proportion of people do when they move to water.... With the titan you still need decent airflow from the front of your case through to the back.
 
Just in the process of doing an hour blend (and gromacs later) if I get the chance.....

Been working at home all day so the ambient temp in the room is a little higher than normal but here's the idle temps.

Any chance someone could post screenies @ 100% load,all this sounds good,but would like to see some actual screenshots

It's wierd, isn't it! If i ever have an issue with an overclock failing in Orthos, it fails on Blend, yet the temperatures are higher on Gromacs. I don't understand :confused:
 
yeah but it looks realy big,has anyone any clue would it fit in my Silverstone TJ06 case?
because i got 2x120 Fans @ the bottom of the case to make it very windy in there also my Asus p5w mobo, might be the reason why i am worried? Anyone has same sistem ?
Or can someone post pics with instaled Amanda?
