Given the Titan is a lot louder under load than I was expecting, does anyone know if there's some form of customer cooler available? Preferably without the need for an entire water cooling setup...

Thanks!

Are you using fan profiles on afterburner?

Hi,

No I'm not. I just have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed. Is it "MSI Afterburner 3.0.0" you are talking about?

When the card is at idle there is no noise, only when I start gaming does the vacuum cleaner kick in!

PS: it's a Gigabyte one

I want something to cool mine more effectively too. It hits 80 degrees far too quickly. I don't want to open loop water cool as I was wondering about looking into attending some lan events.

Only trouble with that cooler is that it would take up 3 slots, and I was glad to get back to a two slot cooler from my 580 Matrix. The 580 Matrix cooler actually looks like it would line up pretty well with the Titan gpu to be fair, but I really ought to bang that on ebay.

I'm now wanting to leave a pci slot free on my mobo for a Xonar Essence ST at some point, and the are both underneath the main gpu slot and the other gpu slots would fould the bottom connections on the mobo if fitted with a tripple slot cooler. Grrr!

I might look at a few more ghetto water cooled Titans, with the closed loop cpu water coolers attached I think.

Arctic also do a closed loop hybrid that fits Titan, might suit your needs better. Shame ocuk don't stock this stuff.
