Hi,

Not upgraded my PC for a good 5 ish years now and feel it'e time. Want a PC that will see me well for a good 2-3 years really.

Have been looking at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-054-OG&groupid=43&catid=2475 - not sure what GFX card to go for between the GeoForce GTX 970 and 980 - is there a huge difference?

I have recently purchased an Asus Xonar DG - nothing wrong with this really. If I was to install this myself after buying an OCuK system would I void my warrenty?

For the main OS drive I'm going with an SSD. Was thinking of choosing a really charge SATA drive for the secondaryu drive. Are there any downsides to this decision?

Just out of interest, compared to the Titan Wrath system (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-053-OG&groupid=43&catid=2475) and the fact an ATI GFX card is used, are there any other huge differences?

Cheers for any help.

Cheers the replies. This is what I'm going to order - any comments or issues you see?

With the above options, single GTX 970 is £1579.94 inc VAT, SLI GTX 970 is £1827.94 inc VAT

Difference, £248.00 :)

Actually, that's a fair point.

Just spent a few minutes reading about SLi and the 970 vs 980 (have been out of the loop in PC upgrading for years).

There doesn;t seem to be a huge performance increase of the 980 4GB over the 970 4GB. The 980 costs an extra £172.00. To make matters worse, someone said they'd always buy a single, more powerful card and then upgrade later on when the card is cheaper.

Gah, decisions! :)
