I'm on the brink on wether to go for watercooling or buy a Titan Fenir for a lot less money but not so much of an overclock but I have heard a few mixed temps with it just a few on the OcUK shop review:

i have a q6600, the fenrir and zalman thermal grease and currently running at 3.8Ghz with temps of 28*C idle and 39*C full load, though i had to up the vcore to 1.38v and the NB to 1.31v i was expecting much higher temps.
Rediculas good temps.

After an hour of prime95 at 4.05Ghz on my Q9550 topped out at 69C but levelled off at around 64-5C
Quite expectful temps.

I placed the fan on the wrong way around, but after changing that I get an idle temperature of 18 Degree's at warm room temperature, and ive not seen it go above 25, will definatly be overclocking my Q9550.
Again ridiculas good temps.

Its a good cooler, I clocked my i920 to 4Ghz no problems, Apart from 90Deg peak.
Thats really high temp.

You my mixed feelings will it cool my E7400 to a 4Ghz overclock with decent temps?

If you mount it properly yes

My advise is put some thermal paste on the base of the heatsink, and work it into all of the gaps where the heatpipes join the base. You will be surprised how much paste you need. Once thats worked in, clear off the excess + mount.

The usual line or blob technique wont get a good contact on it's own with a Fenrir

The Titan's a good Cooler, your second quote there is my review

Gonna remove the Cooler and re apply the thermal paste as celliot suggested, check this link.

Can see why your confused by some of those reviews there though some of those reported temps are just wrong lol
