Taken over 5000 kits of OCZ v 5000 of Corsair the Corsair did come out on top, not by much but it was enough of a victory that when a £1000 system is concerned I would have been mad not to take the XMS3 as the kit of choice.

Kingston are another alternative although their products really start to shine at the higher speeds of DDR2 and DDR3
