Hi everyone.

I bought a Titan Goliath PC from overclockers around 2 years ago and I recently lost my overclock profiles after I updated my bios.
I contacted the good people at overclockers to see if they had a record of the settings but due to the age of the system, they were unable to help me.

Here are the system details...

"Titan Goliath" Intel Core i7 930 2.80GHz @ 3.60GHz Quad Core DDR3 System
Gigabyte EX58A-UD3R Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C9 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel
Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLI Compliant PSU
Antec 300 case

I'm really hoping that somebody else owns this system and would be kind enough to provide me the settings that I need to get the little monster back on form.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the advice. I've found a few overclocking guides with various methods but I can't seem to keep my core temperatures below 80oC while running prime95. In fact they keep creeping up into the 90's. I can't lower my v-core any more otherwise my system becomes unstable so I'm a bit stuck. My CPU temperature used to level out at about 75oC to 80oC before I lost my settings.

Hmmm, I spoke too soon. Can anyone help me restore the overclock on my pc?

I just tried using the above settings, and my pc was unstable. The settings that were different on my BIOS config were the DRAM Timing Selectable and the Advanced DRAM features, they all had different voltages.

Could this be because I upgraded my PSU on order?

Sorry, I am new to overclocking. Any help would be appreciated

May be a stupid question, but I have to ask.
Have you deleted the OCUK bios profile?

I think its f12 when in bios to view bios profiles, if you still have it just load the OCUK profile back in...

Yeah, thanks for the input, i've checked and there is no profile. I figure I must've updated the BIOS at some point. I have to be honest and didn't realise this would come and bite me in the ass. Although I've been around computers for a while I'm really new at overclocking

I've never overclocked my own CPU either, but intend to push my current OC a little further very soon.

If the above settings didn't work, as the guys said your probably safest just searching for guides and trying to find a stable OC that way.

i've had a look and find it all pretty overwhelming, I've had a look for guides but they all seem pretty different and I'm not having much luck.

You should be able to get to 4.0 quite easily with a good HSF. I was running 4.0 quite comfortably on my old Noctua.

Just an update, contacted Overclockers and they gave me these. Hopefully they will be useful to anyone else in the same boat as me
