Titan Vanessa CPU Fan - Please Help

Hi All,

I have just bought and installed a new Titan Vanessa CPU fan, I did get an Amanda, but could not fit it into my case, the problem I am having is that even on full speed, my cpy which is a Qx6700 Quad core is running at 70 degrees, it wasnt this high on the stock cpu fan!? Any advice?

It mustnt be seated properly. Take the cooler off, reapply thermal paste, and reseat it. Make sure that the is nothing in the way (Such as capacitors) stopping the Heatsink locating properly.

Thats a bit better! I have rotated the fan around, and tightened it in! Im now getting high-ends temps of 51 degrees. Is this normal do you reckon? I have an additional 3 x 120 mm fans, the case temp is around 32 degrees, and my 2 Geforce 8800's are 68 and 72 degrees respectfully.
