Hello guys n girls,

I ordered the Titan Vulcan last week and it arrived on Friday (yay!). I've set it all up and it's running rather well with no problems as of yet, but, I was wondering if the cpu fan should me making the amount of noise that it is. I've got the Vulcan where the CPU is already overclocked to 3.3.

Is there an option that maybe turns the fan speed down a little bit, as it seems to run on full speed whether or not the machine is gaming or idle.

Thanks

you could try using something like speedfan to control it.

wouldnt think the fan should make much noise relative to a stock cooler.

if it is plugged into the motherboard then you should be able to control the fan speed as per cpu temperature. If you cannot do this, try connecting it to a molex connection with a 5V mod.

Hi Roscolabri

I bought my TV just before you. OC systems support told me to stick a pencil in the 4870 graphics card fan and I reckon that is the one making all the noise in mine. I am swapping the card like-4-like.

If you hit on an alternative solution I would be v. interested - the reviews on the site describe it as whisper quiet!

The system is very quiet when everything is perfectly fine, the system may have taken a knock in transit either causing a cooler to run full tilt due to a poor contact or maybe a fan has been damaged.

Just get in touch with the support team and they will get to the bottom of it in no time. :)
