Titan X in 4k benchmarks

Watched that Wolfenstein vid you posted elsewhere. Impressive to say the least!

I'm guessing over 900 GBP on release for that ?

The video you're talking about was not that panel. That was an LG of the same resolution but 60hz IPS and quite a step down for most in terms of response sadly.

No idea on the Acer pricing, it's gone dark - but expecting a release sometime this year.

Tbh I don't understand 4k gaming.
For watching TV normal TV can be upscaled by the panel but with gaming this isn't possible? Well I have never seen it mentioned.

Everything is upscaled on a 4k TV.

Upscaling doesn't add any detail to the picture, so SD tv looks poor and so do low resolutions from PC.

1080p looks good, Native UHD looks great. Everything else looks quite poor really.

Ive been running 4k on the 32" Benq for about 4 days, playing civ5, eso, fifa 15.
and amazingly with aa turned off and a tweek to settings my 690 is doing well.
thats another subject... what I was going to say its gawd damn breathtaking.
epecially ESO. sometimes I just stop and look at it, it is that good.

p.s. can't wait for me bad boys. Titan X sli, nom nom nom

On the welcome to the jungle level without AA x2 titan blacks is about mid-late 40's or was that with SMAA i can't remember. I had to add a 3rd black to get 60fps v-sync. I reckon a titan x will be similar to x2 blacks. x2 titan x will be good for 60fps.
When my titan x arrives i might test crysis 3 again.

Using a 28" 4K screen from standard desk position I can still see jaggies especially at distance but I think that 8xAA is somewhat excessive :p
On a 27" 1440p I found 4xAA to be the sweet spot so I think for 4K 2xMSAA with maybe some post process AA should make for good visual fidelity without hitting the frame rate too hard.
