Placed an order for a TX on the 25th of last month, seems i was late to the party and its still not shipped. I bought it for £829 after rebate and what not but since i have the option to cancel i don't know what to do .....

So, do i wait to see what AMD do (never had an AMD card before) or do i keep with the rather cheap TX ........

Also i would have thought that the witcher 3 will be out before AMD do anything and i dont like the concept of playing it with a crappy spare card until others get released!

you going to get everyone on this forums say go for the X, I think you knew that, maybe you wanted people to support your purchase :D

;)

:p

If its time dependent get the TitanX, if willing to wait then the 6gb version will be a couple hundred cheaper but it wont be out before the 390

If advising someone else I would say wait, but if it was me I would just go for it as I'm that impatient

390X = 1st week of june if you're lucky, the TX clone will be a week later... but deffo not before the 390X

sod that........no get it now, you might save 200 quid but late june is still a long time away

I can't help think of the Titan X as the Toaster X. 102C on the rear ram after 10mins is not something to enjoy. Garbage cooling for a card at this price.

June should bring the 390X and hopefully the 980TI (Toaster X with a better cooler).

Must admit they are better under water, but still a great card though. There is no denying that performance = heat.

If you wait then you will be waiting for ever as when the 390x arrives tgen nvidia might release the 980ti and then it might be some else coming around the corner. Tech is always changing so it impossible to keep up so uf you need/want the best card at this very moment thdn stick with the titan x

Yeah I just wished they could make Titans with aftermarket coolers. NVIDIA doesn't allow it.

I give you noise, it's definitely not quiet. But throttling? Heat? I've got my card OC'd and in a notoriously air starved case and I only max out at about 73 degrees.
