I am in desperate need of a new rig, my budget is around the Titan Xenomorph range - The reviews on the machine are all pretty positive and it looks like a decent set up.

My question being would i be better of buying parts to around this price range and end up with a far superior rig, or take the hassle out of everything and purchase a pre-built by OCUK staff?

Something like this vs Xenomorph?

The main benefit of the OcUK overclocked bundle is the overclock, but they do charge a premium for it (usually around £30). However, the downside of bundle is that you can't chooce the parts use specifically...like the i3 530 bundle you quoted...the motherboard it use doesn't have USB3.0 or SATA 6Gbps ports.

If you pick the parts and DIY, then yes you can get better/faster parts or parts you prefer, but you would then have to do the overclocking yourself.

Also, for the i3 530 bundle and the GTX460 768MB a Corsair CX400W will be more than enough (actually it will be enough for the i3 overclocked bundle plus any single graphic card...except for may be the 5970, GTX465, GTX470, or GTX480), and cut your PSU cost in half...and the case...well, I think you can get other cases that are not as expensive but also got decent cooling/airflow.

The Xenomorph spec and the spec above are both excellent.

The advantage you will get by purchasing the Xenomorph is the warranty and return to base whereas the spec above you only have that on the overclkocked bundle.

It depends on whether you want to build the system yourself or not.

You can always contact myself or the sales teams and we can build you a "custom" xenomorph with the above components.

Hope this helps!
