There may have been a last-minute realization at Santa Clara, that the card - as presented at GTC - may not cut it in the ring against AMD's Radeon R9 295X2, or at least it won't be able to warrant its vulgar $3000 price tag,
Spend $3k on a card......then pay to cool it yourself?![]()

According to ComputerBase’s sources the new launch date for GeForce GTX TITAN Z is set for next week.
The most powerful gaming graphics card from NVIDIA might finally be released on May 28th. Multiple sources told CB that TITAN Z should be expected on Wednesday. This is quite odd, because Wednesday is not a common launch day for NVIDIA. In fact, I can’t remebmer when did the company release a new graphics card on this day before. Usually it is Tuesday or Thursday, so don’t be surprised if we see it’s actually May 27th or 29th.
