Hi all, just downloaded the 48hour gameplay for Titanfall.
When I get to the menus framerate just drops to 7-8fps with GPU usage on 1-2%.
VRAM also goes up as high as 3.8GB

I have tried disabling crossfire but still does the same.

Anyone able to shed some light on this?

I wouldn't be paying for the game if it's like this with my system.

Are you running afterburner?

If so, try disabling origin in-game. It's in the origin settings.

If that fails, try closing afterburner.

If you aren't running afterburner then now sure.

if you at normal res not 4h probably crossfire bug.

one of your cards max the game at 1080p flawless.

at 4k someone posted it takes upto 4.5gb mem video wise.

disable all overlays. also origin ingame.

Im on 1440p if that helps.
Overlay disabled by default, also disabled origin in-game, still nothing.

First off, vram CrossFire usage is 1.9Gb, AB/monitor progs give you a total vram count, half it.

If you have Origin beta client, it re-enables Origin in game OSD, check it again(whether using normal client or beta)-the OSD problem has been going on a while now and causes low single figures in loading screens.

Should you get it working and enjoy it-Mexico Origin via hola plugin-£13 for deluxe.;)

Not tried titan fall for ages but I'll jump on later or tomorrow and see how it does on my two.

Thanks, let me know how you get on :)

How do I know if I am running a normal or beta client?
I'll be keeping my £7(normal edition) if I can't even get past the loading screen :o

I play titanfall on 7970 crossfire (same as 280x) will no issues at all.

That's good to hear, must be something in my system not letting it run properly.

Uggggh

Reverted back to 14.4 and still nothing!

I'm ready to give up with this game :o

So much hassle just trying to get it working.

I had a go with this last night as well and it seemed fine ... what are you using to display FPS ?

Using MSI AB. It just seems like my GPU fails to start, sits at 2% load as soon as I get into the menu screen.

Try completely shutting down MSI Afterburner if it is running.

I tried exiting it from the task bar, unless you mean ending the process/service?

It's in Origin client options>'Beta participation' I think.

I'll hopefully try it tonight on 290X CrossFire and I'll update too.:)

Seems like I'm in the normal client as the option for BETA was unticked.

Thanks to everyone's help atm, I have just uninstalled it and reinstalling again...52GB worth :o
I will report back again once this finishes.

I don't think it's actual 52Gb of downloading, I started it last night and there is no way it can download that fast on my bb.

I'm sure it's compressed and unpacks while downloading.

If you haven't got the beta client running, try it and untick origin in game overlay in the options, worth a shot.

The download is ~ 24GB. As you say it unpacks once this download has finished. IIIRC the way Origin shows it though appears that you are downloading 52GB (just shows a higher download throughput). It has been a while since I downloaded it so I may be wrong.

Jony27 - I meant just exist from the taskbar (like you have done). This fixed the single digit FPS problem for me (R9 290X & GTX780M so not AMD specific).

That explains a lot :p
Yeah, still no changes even after exiting afterburner.
34% done for download..
Time to play something else

Working fine here, Not using Afterburner overlay. Using RadeonPro, ignore usage reading RP dont support r9 series reading.

Things I have noticed, they finally removed the need to use vsync to get a higher frame rate on 120hz monitor, very good.
