TJ07 or TJ10?

Has anyone got experience of both? I'm leaning towards a TJ10 because it reminds me of the beloved ATCS 110 but with more modern cooling. But the TJ07 looks more flexible.

I have had both, and I prefer the Tj10 - if you could persuade your heart to get over the ATC-110, the TJ09 is identical, though I do sympathize, being an ex ATCSer myself!

The tj07 is a great case, possibly the better of the two in terms of pure quality, but I'd say it isn't as practical.

For example, one of the hard drive racks in the bottom can clash with longer PSUs, meaning that you might have to remove it altogether and mount additional HDDs (if you're planning to use more than 3) in the 5 1/4 inch bays using adapters, which will obviously cost extra.

Also, as far as cooling goes, unless you're planning to water cool, the TJ07 has a weakness the tj09/10 does not, and that's in the video card department. There is no front intake fan, meaning that unless you invest in one of these,

....again at an extra cost...your video card(s) will have no direct source of cool air since the fans in the bottom of the TJ07 are isolated and intended to cool only the hard drives while the rear intake fans only cool the components on the upper half of your motherboard (CPU-memory etc).

As I say, if you’re planning to mod heavily or water cool, most of the above is irrelevant, but I’ve never been much of a modder myself, hence my preference!

EDIT - also, as I recall the tj07 has a non-standard reset switch that requires a pin to press it....not a disaster, but worth mentioning.

Thats quite some setup you have balth!

I think my TJ09 is great, went for it over the TJ10 as I didnt like the door. Am planning to put a 120.2 rad in the top for gfx card cooling, but waiting till after crimbo. I looked at the TJ07 but lack of gfx cooling put me off, plus its got two small fans on the mobo tray, I preferred the standard 120mm fan on the TJ09/10 tbh.
