I am designing some mods for my project, part of it is to install a 120.2 fan grill on the midplate to push cool air over the CPU and into the system. However, do to this while preserving a HDD rack will mean that the fans will hit the PSU. However, I was to mount the PSU horizontally rather than on it's side it would work. I'm trying to work out how I could do this. I am looking into fabricating a custom panel but that would be tricky. Any suggestions?

Not sure if it is standard equipment as I bought mine second hand but I think it is. You can change the back panel part that covers the psu to a normal horizontal one :) Will get a quick pic of it 2 secs :)

Fantastic! I've just messaged the guy I'm buying the case from (hasn't arrived yet :) ) and hopefully he will let me know if it includes one or not!

EDIT! Anyone in the same boat as me, the horizontal mount is for a redundant PSU rather than a standard ATX one. Looks like I'll be making an adapter bracket :(

Wow your build must be taking a long time :p

I never measured at the time, assumed it was for a standard psu. Very strange.

Yeah, had a massive lack of time for a while. Making a but of a push now, primed half of it earlier, will be fishing the priming on Monday. Then I need to sort out getting the colour paint mixed, braiding and fans. I'm really hesitant on spending £70 just on fans though...
