TJ08 watercooled build....

Looking to get the Phobya G Silent 18 700rpm fan in red as it's 32mm thick compared with the 25mm "slim" ones they do and the 32mm pushed a lot more air!!

Also thinking of getting a 25mm fan shroud to go with it. :)

All mounting hardware etc is also on order for the rear mounted 240mm rad.

I5 2500K @ 4.5GHZ
GTX670

As it is -

Idle is quite high at about 39 after the comp has been on a while.

Load - CPU 57 (prime)

When gaming

CPU 68
GPU 45

No idea why idle is high - maybe my house is roasty!!?

The front fan is running at less than 7V - not exactly sure as 7v is connected, but the speed switch is on low. Also 1 corsair SP quiet at 7v.

Update -

When running stock fan at 7v now CPU temp is 56 and GPU 39.

But it is quite audible at this speed.

Curious to see how the ordered phoyba fan will do as at max speed it is only 18dba

I was considering changing my main PC to one of these and trying watercooling. Would it be possible to run a loop for the CPU and 2x GPU (GTX580's) ?

I think you would need the front 200mm rad and at least another 2x 120 rads or 1x240 for that.

I have the 200 and a 120 and I'm adding another 240 just for giggles.

Some extra hose, rad brackets, grommets, phobya fan.

All ready to be played with tonight hopefully.

Still undecided about keeping the bay res or not!

Leak testing and letting the bubbles work their way out. Now it's time for some sleep!!!

Also fitted the new front fan - nice and quiet. Pump is also nice and quiet again now that I'm not using the bay res.

is a shame about the bay res, one day they will get them right huh ><
hehe is that your lego we see?

Prime95 = 55Deg

Gaming -
CPU 53Deg
GPU 36Deg

Seems to be doing a decent job. :)

If looking a bit mad at the same time.

That's with the corsair fans at 7v and the phobya at 12v.

Although the phobya is 18db at 12v it is still audible so I may knock it down to 7v also.

Good board, although I've not really messed with it yet. Simply changed the multiplier to 45 and left it for now. Will have a good go at clocking it properly when I get the time.
