Anyone running either of the following kernels on the TL-WR1043ND router? The stock firmware is a little too buggy for my liking so I'm thinking of maybe trying one of the alternate options. Any thoughts etc? I'm on v1.8

Cheers

I did have DD-WRT on mine but I found it worse than the stock firmware. Perhaps it has been improved since?

DD-WRT is held together by string.
brainslayer seems unable to fix something without breaking something else.

i think OpenWRT is managed better as it's true opensource but not as pretty or as easy as dd-wrt.

OK thanks I was hoping they would be more reliable and with less bugs than the stock firmware, maybe I will re-think but will probably test them out to see what I think

i have to run two scripts at boot to fix dd-wrt.
one to fix loopback and another to fix the switch so lan ports can see each other.

dd-wrt wasn't what i was expecting when i installed it.
