Has anyone got the tmobile e220 usb modem working windows 7 64bit? Tried looking on the tmobile website for driver updates but found nothing.

yup doesnt seem t-mobile and vodafone are working at all on 64bit windows 7, they seem to work better on 32bit just fine...

Pretty poor support from tmobile/vodafone considering they had many months in advance before win 7s launch.

Is this just the drivers? Or the web an walk program aswell?

I use a t-mobile stick for my laptop at work and I was planning on updating to windows 7 soon.

Hope they get it sorted swiftly.

well from what I can see it maybe both the driver/software it gives some weird error upon inserting it into a 64bit win7 pc.

half way thru the install it just cancels out, 32bit is fine though.
Even googling the error and applying the 64 bit registry fix doesnt resolve it.

Only 3g seem to have bothered to support 32bit/64bit vista/7 the others are like meh....

software updates will happen but its gonna take time since win7 is new...

I get customers arguing and moaning at me and im like you are aware I didnt create windows 7 64bit let alone vodafone/tmobile lol people really are stupid out there, they should have a go at them instead for creating the issue.

It's entirely reasonable for someone purchasing any piece of hardware in 2009 to expect 64-bit Windows Vista/7 support. If you are selling products which don't then it's up to you to make this clear, or as a retailer to lean on the suppliers to ensure 64-bit support is made available.

Oh its made clear now... just saying vodafone/tmobile had ages too get support for win7, its pretty poor support considering they had all that time.
