Was wondering if there are any TN Gsync screens that doesnt suffer from the horrible coating that the ROG SWIFT has?, that is the TN one. Preferably light matte like the LG ultrawides but anything really other than that grainy mess.

Isn't grain just something you have to deal with with matte?

Nope, the matte coating on the LG ultrawide panels are perfect imho, whites appear clear white and there is no "sparkly" effect to it. But with all the google searches ive done so fare it seems all TN Gsync monitors use the same AUO panels and that apparently includes grainy coating. Some reports of variance between models but that makes no sense if they all use the same unless there is something i am missing(AUO applies the coat?)

It seems hit and miss :| the latest batch of the TN Swift and the Dell seems to have a lot lighter AGC with much improved perception of image quality due to it but 1-2 people are still getting them with grainy whites.
