Hi guys I'm after a bit of advice please (pretty please :o )
thinking of buying 8800gts 320mb

I have

foxconn m/board
x800 gto (pci express)
2 gig ddr
amd 64 3000+ @2.1
windows vista home premium 32bit
etc etc

will I see much of an improvement in game performance ? (mainly play flight sim x)
will my ageing processor be holding me back?

Thanks in advance :)

Im sure this didnt need 2 topics ;)

1. 8800 GTS 320mb is worth it 100% probbly the only card if your on a budget to get.
2. Yes your CPU will hold you back and you wont see the full power of the 8800 GTS however saying that u will see an increase in performance over the X800 however the CPU is probbly holding that card back by aleast 30% or more

Far as i can tell if you are running on a 19" screen or less you are gunna need a more comfortable seat. A huge improvement you will see.

Flight sim x will kill even the highest system if you get too greedy, find a balance and be happy.
