To anyone contemplating De-Lid

This guy seems to imply it hasn't degraded although only 9 months use after delidding. So does that mean you shouldn't need to regularly delid again and reapply compound over time?

I always thought that was a premature inspection but I guess data is useful and the product was new.

IMO if it lasts 9 months fine, then it's safe to say you can just keep an eye on temperatures, and open it up if they get worse.
