Just curious if there's any gamers out there that can give me some performance info.
So as per a thread I made the other day I was looking to get an AMD however I'm now thinking maybe intel might be the way, so does anyone know of some performance stats for a high end AMD, intel 5, intel 7, and the sandy bridges on high graphic intensive games, some personal opinions would be nice as well it's all good looking at stats but what's the point when u can't feel it your self

Hi there,

I would have a look at this page initially - then read through the entire review. Also bear in mind that the i5 2500K CPU seems to hit 4.5GHz with a decent cooler - and quite a few have had it up to ~4.9GHz.
 
Cheers guys the stats look in favour of intel some of the reviews not so much but think I'll get me a sandy rig can't wait for BD to come out 2 months is to long, now to look at ocuk for parts
