6 weeks ago i asked for help building me a tower for about £1100.
I was told to wait as conroe was around the corner.
Is it safe to build now? or is there something else big that should be waited for?
If so what what would be the advise?
Mainly for gaming, so i guess i gonna need a decent graphics card to keep up with conroe?

Like BillytheImpaler says now is fine providng you can get hold of a Conroe. There will be DX10 cards coming out but probably not for another 3 months or so which means now is as good at time as any otherwise you will always be waiting for what is just around the corner.

Yes a decent graphics card(X1800XT or higher) will be best. What do you need for your money? i.e. monitor, software, keyboard, mouse and speakers or just the box?

Ive got around a £1100-£1200 budget on the tower and around £250 on the monitor. (keyboard, mouse, speakers ect aint needed)

I'd suggest something like this then, get someone who knows a bit more about Conroe to check and also make sure the monitor is ok. All the parts ought to be compatible and it should overclock nicely as well.
