I'm in two minds as to whether or not to upgrade my 3060ti FE to a 7900XT and wondered what you chaps thought.
I currently only really play one game, that being Microsoft Flight Sim. The 3060ti doesn't do too badly with my 5800X, but running at 1440p on a 4k TV does require DLSS to be used to get a meaningful frame rate at high settings.
I much prefer TAA over DLSS though as I find DLSS makes text in the flight deck a touch soft. In fact everything is a bit soft compared to TAA but I don't have the oomph for that.
The reason I've specified a 7900XT is after various discounts available to me plus selling the 3060ti, I can get a new Asus model for £362.
My other option is an MSI 4070S for £326, but with the 7900XT being faster in all but ray tracing and me not really wanting to use DLSS, the Radeon seems the better choice.
Pull the trigger at that price or wait for the next gen and continue with the 3060ti?
Cheers.
