Hey all I've got a bit of a dilemma and was looking for some advice.
I've got an old x79 system and have been looking forward to the new AMD processors to build a new system around. However I've found the following deal as a pre built on another website at what I think is a very good price for an Alienware system £1900. Its listed as scratch and dent but comes with a full warranty.

Main specs of interest are 9900k, 32gig ram (2666), 2x 2080 with nvlink bridge, 512gb m.2, aio cooler.

Now to price up the components it comes to around 2400, and to buy new on alienware website it's around 3400 (I know) but with the new processors and the 'Super' gpu's coming out I'm not sure if it is such a great deal?

What's your thoughts?

@Neonine

list roughly between what you put as components by them selves and the system on discount.

Use 2080ti instead of SLi 2080 as second £600 card will be idle for 50% of the time ... always get single most expensive card you can first.. then double it if you've got more money then sense .
Added a Basic Gigabyte board which is better then most more expensive z390 boards and will BE NIGHT AND DAY OVER ALIENWARE BOARD! will be surprised if its actually a z390 board !
360 AIO vs no doubt alienwares basic 120 or 240 aio - no chance running all cores at 5ghz on that!
1tb nvme for the price alienware/dell charges you .
One of the highest quality PSU compared to the average you'll be running those dual 2080's

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £2,189.96 (includes shipping: £18.12)

will be interetsing if alienware UK drop price after 7th when Ryzen 3800x and 3900x rock up!
