to get eee pc?!?!

right i have 400 pounds to spend, i can either build a file server to host files on my network and a cod 4 game or i can get the new eee pc 900 with 20 gig ssd and 1 gig of ram. i would use the eee pc at friends houses aswell as in the car and at school. is it worth it? should i get the eee pc 900?

been looking online i like the look of the black one and would probably substitute the linux os on it for ubuntu or fedora, possibly arch
