Hi,

From my sig you can see what I'm currently running and the 750W EVGA psu I have at the moment is more than adequate.

When I registered my Titan X at the weekend EVGA sent me an email explaining they would knock £50 off of my next psu or mouse purchase. This means I can grab a 1200W P2 unit for just £100 and I was wondering if you guys think this will be a good move to "future proof" my system in case I (most likely will) decide to get a second TX at some point.

What do you guys think?

If you go extrem with the Titan they can draw up to 300W each. +100W CPU +100 spare stuff. If you go SLI in the future it will be worth it! Generally the 750W PSUs are certified for 2 way SLI of Titan X but this is also depending on the rest of your configuration... When the 750W unit is on max load the fan will be louder then running the same system on the 1200P2 unit and you have then still some headroom left.

To be honest I have yet to hear the fan on my 750 G2 spin up once since owning it and it's run a 980, 980 SLI and now a Titan X.

With that said, if I do get a second card down the line I'd prefer not to push the PSU to it's limits. I'd rather have too much power than too little.
