To many games not enough time :(

I'm finding my gaming collection expanding very quickly and I must admit I've probably not completed 90% of my gaming collection over the past 5 years ha , anyone else in the same situation ?

This is why i dont buy games till i have finished with another.

rather than pay full price for a game i wait till i have completed other games then buy the ones i wanted. for example Doom is one i wanted and i have waited to buy it, at the moment its 9.99 so by the time i do buy it the games going to be quite cheap and also save me a lot of money in the long run.

I had last years COD awaiting to be played and tried it at the weekend. Couldnt handle more than 10 minutes of it before uninstalling. Not buying another COD again. Still got Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 to play.
At least if you dont play a game for ages when you do its all patched up and more playable ! :)

i only buy games now i know i will play regular.this solves the problem.also avoid developers who build buggy games for eg Ubisoft :D

I've organised my Steam games in to:

Completed
Currently Playing
Multiplayer Only
Never Played
Retro

I've also tried to be a bit more careful about what I have and haven't bought. For instance I didn't buy Horizon: Zero Dawn on PS4 Pro, nor did I get Mass Effect: Andromeda on PC (despite having it on pre-order)

Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch took up a huge chunk of my time in March and it was such a great game that many things will now pale in comparison :(

I've gone the other way now, huge collection and with the exception of a few games I've finished none of the previously bought games are jumping out at me to install and play.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Recently purchased Batman: Arkham Knight for a few quid and playing that. The graphics really look great at 4K on the PC but the game is no way near as fun as Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the Switch. Had a go on it on Sunday for a while, not sure if I was just tired or if it is the game, but it felt like a bit of a chore playing it, was mainly enjoying the graphics. Where as I could not get my hand off Zelda and kept coming for more.

I keep getting loads of rubbish games I'll never play in bundles but I redeem them anyway because I can't be bothered to go through the hassle of selling them all or giving them away.

Why redeem them at all? I just ignore the ones I don't want to play from bundles.

If you are buying stuff in sales or on impulse, redeem them as an item in your steam inventory. That way you can redeem them if you want to play them or give them away should anyone else want to.

Too many*

But yes, i agree. I'll get to them eventually, but i average about 11 hours a week gaming these days. Adulthood.

I think i've got to the point where I have completed everything worth playing and everything new that comes out seems to be rubbish.

I have done this over the last few months and works well.
