I am clueless when it comes to monitors, so anyone able to point me in the right direction?

Looking for a new monitor, mainly for movies/warcraft/starcraft, with the odd flurry at FPS games.

Ideally looking for something around the 27" screen size, price, meh up to £400 at the very most. I keep seeing TN, IPS and all this, but it means bugger all to me and I cannot get my head round it.

Currently using a HP 2210i, which I love (Black looks great ), but need something bigger with a better response time, as this is gonna become my 2nd monitor for keeping an eye on my stream.

Any help you can provide would be great

29", 21:9 aspect, 2560x1080, plus Ultrasharp 3 year onsite warranty too so no need to worry about pixel faults.

I have one and its amazing, WoW looks great and movies have no black borders (I previously had a 27" 2560x1440 screen and this is much better for WoW/Diablo as it loses the "wasted" vertical space that just makes you neck sore while raiding.

I have just upgraded from an 27"tn 1080p to a 30" 2560x1600 ips screen and its chalk and cheese,I have even started playing my older games etc just to see how much better they look on my new screen

im so with you on this one ....... I have been trying to buy 3 monitors for almost a month and my head is spinning....
