Having an issue with my build at the moment, more of an annoyance rather than a big problem at the moment.

Sometimes I turn on my PC and it will not post... I hit the reset button once and then it posts fine. Happens 65% of the time that I turn on the pc for a first time in the morning.

Now I originally thought it might be cables etc, but I changed to a new case yesterday and even installed a Sata DVD-ROM as I thought my IDE was causing problems.

Problem is still there... motherboard is a P6T

I know how to clear the CMOS, do you really think this is the problem? Don't want to lose all my OC profiles.

I can't imagine what else it would be, other than the PSU. It might be an overheating problem, but from the moment you press the button i don't think it would get hot enough.

Funny, I was just coming to the forum to post about seemingly the exact same problem.

My new build was working fine with a Dell screen I borrowed from work, but then when I hooked up my new Asus VH222H, basically everytime I turn on for the first time, I get no display, although most of the time I get the 'beep' and fans on seemingly normal. Then when I turn off and on again, it usually works fine the second time. If not second then third time.

This made me think it was an issue related to the monitor. Any thoughts?
