My Peugeot 106 was last serviced at 4300 miles by an independent garage after having its first 3 services performed at the Peugeot dealer.
It's mileage currently sits at 56k - and is due it's MOT in August. I got the independent garage to check the car out last week in preparation for its MOT (In N.Ireland we have to go to a proper DVANI testing centre for MOT tests). The garage found no problems with the car but advised brakes may need attention in near future.
According the Peugeot manual the 50k service is an intermediate visit, which contains an oil top-up, screen wash top up and coolant level top up. With the 60k service due soon - within 2 months I'd say, I'm debating whether it's worth taking it for the overdue 50k service - just to have a complete service history.
I'm thinking of trading car in soon as part-exchange with a dealer for a "new" car, or giving the car to my sister - I'm scared I'll lose more value than I already have by missing this service.
What do you all suggest?
