I have a Thermaltake Tsnuami case in black, now i have seen other cases which were originally silver on the inside but have been sprayed black and i think it looks really good. What kind of spray should i use to spray the inside??

Your average everyday Halfrauds will do the trick,if you`re feeling rich, get it powder coated ;)

Use satin finish black for best results.

But make sure you get an etch primer coat on it first... Or it will flake off.

Acid etch primers and satin paints can best be sourced from your local professional car paint supplies.

Most of those cases that have 'sprayed' black have actually been expensively powder-coated. The finish is quite different, although, like anything, if you have the time and the skill, you can make a tidy job of almost anything.

You should be fine mate, make sure you get a good Primer, and do plenty of thin coats, building up the colour. When i mentioned halfrauds i wasn`t joking, their Spray Cans are great quality. They go for about £6 a Can,but they`re bigger than those crappy lil things you see alover the place. The Paint quality`s good.I`ve used them a lot in the past ;)

better of in my opinion finding a sprayer at a garage.im sure if you give em a nice incentive you might be suprised what someone might come up with.
Might even have some better paint like some pearlessance or something left over from a job.Pearl spray jobs change colour if you are unaware and look awesome.

Even self spray isnt cheap

£6+ a can, and you need AT LEAST 4 cans.

Primer, probably 2 colour, and a clear coat.

I tried (and failed) to do this well, so tbh, dont bother until youve had a bit of practice.

Or find a local sprayer, slip thme a few notes, and ask them if when they're next doing black they can let you know, they'll probably waste more than it takes to do the case in overspray etc Probably less than £50 if you find the right garage, and will be a MUCH better job, unless you know what you're doing.

 i could buy a whole new case with that. Think im going to just go for some quality primer and paint.

The guy takes the case apart and everything though. And puts it back together for you.

Spraying the inside black will be easy and will look just as good as a powder coated one if done right. I found satin black spray from halfords to look really good and gives a sheen similar to the inside of an eclipse.

If the case you have is steel it will most likely be primed inside already so you can just key the surface then spray the colour on. If its aluminum you'll have a much harder job and as stated will need etch primer etc. I only needed 2 cans of satin black acrylic based 300ml spray to do a medium sized tower inside using about 4 coats.
