to those with the logitech z5400/5450

hey guys. im a bit confused on the analogue mini-stereo ports on the side of the sound center. i want to connect my md player up to the control center via the correct lead. is this what its for. what i dont understand is how you would select that as an input as its not one of the options when you cycle through the inputs(with or without the switch at the back set to 6ch direct or 3 stereo mini's)

on the side of the control box is two 3.5mm jacks, one is a headphone out and another is a aux in. As I understand it you select it by changing the switch on the back fron "6-channel in" to "4x stereo in".

but thats the problem. the switch on the back is 3x stereo in not 4 and that covers the 3 mini stereo's on the back

when you plug say an mp3 player into aux in, it just plays through the speakers. You don't have to select it, its just on.
