Right, start off with a hi and thanks for looking :-)

I have as the title says, the Dell U2913WM. Up until the weekend my set up was PS3, XBox and WiiU all set up in the living room on my tv, PC just for bit of work, browsing and a few games in the bedroom. The U2913WM has been a great monitor for pc(after an initial adjustment period because of the ratio). Now we have now moved house and I have a separate room now for the PC and my consoles (means I can play them a lot more being in a separate room). Now lovely the U2913WM may be, playing the consoles on it isn't really working for me due to the cut down screen size. This may not bother most people but I am a "little" odd and a "lottle" fussy and I keep hearing "Change the screen! CHANGE THE SCREEN!" over and over in my head.

My first thought was buy a 32" tv or change to a 16:9 monitor that is good for both desktop, pc gaming and still deals with the consoles well.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the replies guys. Well after I made my post my U2913WM took a turn for the worst. I have had four now, all replaced by Dell and all proven faulty so they are sending me a new one, not a refurbished one like they normally do. I have decided I am going to put it up for sale the day it arrives as I have ordered the Sammy PLS panel that was on offer here on OCUK. Once again, thanks for reading my post

What went wrong with the 2913? - I had one problem with mine where the display suddenly went black with all the control lights on and made a constant clicking sound and wouldn't work again for about an hour (despite completely disconnecting it and leaving it unplugged a few times) after that suddenly came back to life and been working since.

TBH probably won't be buying another Dell monitor again something about it doesn't inspire me with confidence even though its mostly working fine.

Sometimes when I first switch on or wake it from sleep, I get a washed out picture and flickering patches of pixels which look like barcodes on acid. Has been tested with multiple input sources and all manner of cables. The last one I sent back Dell did confirm there was a problem which seemed to be relegated to switching when in Game Mode.

Hmm mines run always in game mode with extra image processing disabled. Fortunatly its not my main display.
