At present my gtx470 is gr8 with my 955 with very little bottleneck(usually above 95%,my 955 is o/c to 3.9 and my 470 @ 7,60)currenly playing crysis 2 and getting between 40 -60 fps,as i can get about £140 on the bay,is it worth upgrading(and selling the 470 while i can)to a 7950 or equivalant?or just keep till it dies,im only a casual gamer and dont play online

Going by what you've said, I'd probably keep it. However, if the idea of making a few quid out of it while you can is what's the main attraction then fair enough. Seeing as you're a casual gamer, something like a 7850 (which btw can manage insane overclocks) would be where I'd most likely put my money. Although at stock there won't be a big difference, you will still benefit from a card that offers lower power consumption, is quieter / cooler and may even get close to stock 7950 speeds. Check out the thread for a run down on how they perform.
