To upgrade or not?

With the following spec what would you upgrade? Or would you just start with a clean piece of paper?

2.80 gigahertz AMD Athlon 64 FX Dual Core
ASUSTeK Computer M2N32-SLI DELUXE
NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GX2 (4x)
2GB DDR2 RAM

Upgrading would be more of a side step.
Personally as said above sell and then put towards a new computer.

Personally i would wait and see what the new AMD Deneb cpu's are like when they are released. They are looking very promising so far and hopefully will bring AMD back to serious competition. In the meantime your current rig is'nt exactly slow so i would stick with what you have or maybe get a 4870X2 now and upgrade the rest when we know how well the next releases of cpu's are going to perform.

Just stating that I should 'go Intel' does come across as being slightly biased.

Recommending the best hardware is not biased.
