Currently using a 2015 HP Pavillion, it has a 6th Gen i7 processor (2.6ghz), 32GB Ram, 4Gb Nvidea graphics card and 1TB SSD - there are no issues with the laptop but it’s a little chunky.
Looked at a good deal on an HP Zbook 15u - it has a 8th Gen i7 processor (1.8ghz base up to 4.0ghz boost), 512gb ssd, 4Gb AMD graphics and 16GB of RAM. It’s obviously thinner and more portable than my HP Pavilion.
I use it for high intensity CAD and design/map making So high intense but not as intense as gaming.
Is the HP Zbook a massive drop in performance ?
