Welcome to our newest heatsink manufactuer. Its name: Zero Infinity.
The new Free Flow CPU Cooler has raw power! In fact it's the brute cooling capacity of three 140-mm fans that really does deliver.
Two symmetrical ascending cooling towers, each with 46 blades all being actively cooled by the three monster fans - a cold air intake, and the other blowing out warm air. The third fan sits in the middle between the towers and relays the freshness from front to rear. Thus, an airflow is produced, comparable to a wind tuneel hence the name Free Flow so the name is well justified.

Shiva is the Hindu God which represents Life and Divinity. This cooler also represents the same beauty as it's name! With the two purple 92mm fans which are included give the final finishing touches and finishes off that divine appearance - after all, Shiva is one of the major deities of Hinduism.
Five extra thick copper heat pipes (8 mm in diameter) that have been integrated directly into the base plate (Heatpipe Direct Touch) ensures that the heat of CPUs is effectively dissipated into the tower and the blades.

Zero Infinity Phantom Knight CPU Cooler - Black (Socket 775/1155/1156/1366/AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1) @ £54.98 inc VAT

This cooler stands out with two main redeeming features; it's design and the pure black colour. Most tower based coolers have a fan at the front pushing air out through the rear of the unit or use a dual/tri fan design to push/pull air which does work better; however having multiple fans pushes the noise levels up. The Phantom makes the ideal balance by positioning 1 single fan in the middle of the unit, thus creating a push/pull configuration with only one single fan giving all the benefits of the three fan setup; but without the noise!
The cooler is made with five extra thick 8mm heatsinks made from copper with direct heatpipe connectivity to your hot CPU. The heat pipes which are entirely black in colour will catch your your eye, but that alone is not what makes this cooler look so amazing. All the cooling fins are all black!
You can also add a splash of color to the mix as you are provided with four different-colored panels that fit into the black outer top cover; Purple, Orange, Red or even bright Green.

- Dimensions (with fan): 105 x 158 x 138 mm (W x H x D)

I wonder if we're going to see an onslaught of purple themed rigs now? :p

Personally I'm liking the Zero Infinity Phantom Knight, but I've got enough coolers lying around here to last me a lifetime.

How is there enough market share for so many companies to make identical coolers and why did no one patent the design

I don't think anyone can really patent the concept of dual radiator heatsink, the same way no one can really patent regular heatsinks. Technically, the only similarity with other coolers is that fact that it has two radiators, and apart from that, it shares very little with other cooler designs (mounting kit aside).

Personally, I think there are much better alternatives and can't recommend the Free Flow+. Sorry OCUK.

As official trademark hold of 'to infinity and beyond' I'm less than impressed by these coolers. ;)
