You can also try the knife trick, just stick it in and wiggle it about, temps should plummet.

I can assure you this is very sound advice. I myself have done this method of efficient toaster cooling! Do not listen to those people that say it's dangerous, they work for the manufacturers in order for you to buy more of their products!

I have suffered no ill effects from using this method, even saved a portion of my energy bill while doing so! I strongly advise you tell all of your friends and family to do so.
