This is after 5min of Orthos (Blend) on each core. (at stock speed! lol)

Anyone else have a hotter Q6600? (I can't wait till all my new Watercooling stuff arrives). :D
 
I reached 85 in a similar time, but that was at 3.2GHz with the stock cooler. Also had it get so hot it rebooted (90+) with a faulty SI-128 at 3.3GHz, but that was with a stupid voltage like 1.45v :eek:
 
I built a watercooling set up recently and forgot to connect up the pump. Ran the e2160 @ 3.2ghz for 20 minutes until i realised it had was running around 90c. :eek:

Shut down, opened case, reconnected the pump and all was well once again! :cool:

Had mine at 77'c while running prime95 over night, for the first 5 hours of a 9 hour run it stayed at 67 on the highest core but during the last 4 hours it was topping out at 77'c. q6600 at 3.4ghz under an acf7 pro cooler.
