After playing a few I decided to pick a Fender Jazz Bass, it was between that and a nice Ibanez, but I've fallen in love with it! :D yay!!

Do you play the 6 stringer too?

Yep, I play bass and guitar, but bass in my band, and guitar at home...hence why my guitars are cheap ***** ones! and my bass's are abit nicer! :)

mmmmm, fretless jazz bass.

very nice Holly; i agree with G|mp - Fender Jazz Bass > Ibanez

At last a real bass.

I helped another rock band out last night because their singer has had an operation on his throat and their bass player has got the best bass sound I've ever heard. He's also an amazing bass player.
He has got three WAL basses which cost about £4000, £2,500 and £2000
He told me an interesting story about WAL - its basically one alcoholic bloke who can't even play the bass who makes them.

It looks like my room because it has guitars in and is blue?

'OcUK IN TWO MUSICIANS WITH BLUE ROOMS SHOCKER!' :p

Speaking as the owner of a Pete-built custom Wal, I think that might be a slight exaggeration for anecdotal effect ;)

Nice bass and colour, holly35.

While I admire penski's fretless suggestion, a non-destructive way of doing this would be to buy a fretless neck from Warmoth, for example; that way you can interchange between the two without affecting resale value.
