...with some Xbox 360 fans. I had much fun tormenting them with things like 'how does it feel like having to pay for online?' and 'so, my PC hasn't broken in the 5 years I have had mine, what about your 360'. I then proceeded to explain if I brought a console, it would be a PS3. They tried to argue back, but then a bombshell was dropped.

'My 360 has better graphics than your stupid PC.'

I **** a brick.

I remember arguing that same thing back when I was in school, and it's a debate you'll never win. Know why? Because both sides are just as retarded for thinking theirs is better. It's all about preference, console has it's advantages over the PC and vice-versa. The PC has good graphics, control (For some games) and modification, the 360 has easily accessible content, good graphics (For a what, 6 year old machine?) and a great selection of games.

just hit them with the 'red ring of death' argument and explain how much easier it is to fix a PC, if it does break at all that is :)

You're saying that for the average user it's easier to diagnose + fix faults on a PC than it is to fill in a webform and put the console in the post?
 
Don't you pay to be online? I know i have to pay for the internet so i can be online.
 
I Was a die hard pc head for so so long but now I don't care, I mainly game on my ps3.

The problem with the pc is that there just aren't the amazing exclusives anymore.

Seriously considering totally downgrading my rig because all I use my pc for now is watching stuff and web browsing, which I can do on my ps3 anyway I hasten to add.
I am also considering selling on my copy of windows 7 as that seems pointless to own as well over XP.

I look at all the new tech and graphics cards still coming then laugh at the lack of great pc games and scratch my head.

Yes but your hardware will not run games very well when it is 5 years old in all honesty. Consoles are good; PC's are good. Just get it into your head people - OP.
