I spent a good hour in shock at the numbers.. it's a detached, 4 bedroom, with the usual garden & garage etc. He accepted, the house is being taken off the market.. so now it's all the stresses and strains before we exchange. Luckily I have no chain being a first time buyer.
It's really my last attempt to get into the property market after spending nearly 15 years chasing the ladder but never being able to get on the first rung.
Not quite the £15M 15,000 sq foot houses I've seen around Weybridge but to me it's pretty much as valuable.

..seems to be blown out of proportion! No it's not in Weybridge but we did look at Walton and other areas before settling further out due to what you you get and area. Sorry - it's not near the figures mentioned here.
