I was on the top of the hill at the end of the runway, the Red Arrows came along at barely 30ft!!!

Going back in 2 years I think!

Top of the hill at the end of the runway near the fence thats on the floor, and then today, images to come soon... I was with my dad on the hil amoungst the shrubs, also out of interest those pictures submited by Concorde Rules where where u on the hill, where u the guy with the 2 kids?

Green chairs? D-SLR? Cool box? :p
 
Nice pictures :) What lens + camera were you using? My camera could only do 3x digital zoom before it went all blury.

Nice pics tho, better than mine :D

@ unknown & concorde: was you in the airfield? or outside of it?
 
Lovely pics :) shame cant convey sounds, for me personally, there isnt anythign on the face of this planet more pleasing to the ear than a lancaster low altitude flyby :D

You must be like 8 then, perhapse your thinking of different ppl, there was a couple of blokes, 2 young kids and an young woman?

350D + Stock 18-55, we were outside the airfield on a hill
80/100ft the red arrows were less than 30ft above us, the smoke actually came down on us.


Some PSing of some tho to get atleast half decent color :p

Thought I may as well post my attempts from the weekend. Was there both Friday and Sunday, unfortunaly without my camera on the Friday which was a shame as it was empty compared to the public day!

Here they are anyway, hope you like them!
