After a week of hmmmmming about what to get I am hoping i get some votes from you guys.

I am wanting a new laptop that is quite quick and fast and would last me for a couple of years.

I have a budget of £900 cant really go over that and love to be cheaper if poss.

I have looked at Macbook Range as well as some laptop ranges. What do you guys thinks I should go for?

Cheers

Had my acer 3023 for over 18 months, which uptil now has been my sole pc for games etc. Only paid £600 for it at the time, so if it was me, i'd go acer.

Yeah i'd imagine it would be amazing, considering how good my iBook (Sep 2005) is, the Macbook would be even better!

The integrated graphics (Intel GMA 950) is pretty good for everything part from heavy gaming and has little effect on the OS experience.

The Pro isn't really worth it unless you are a professional or rolling in the monies.

Update

Did not get the chance to go this evening had to go elsewhere bummer.

But while I am waiting till tmr... If I close the macbook it suspend right??? When I open it, it we return how i left it and how long does this take is it quicker than the laptop Hibernate?

yes it should be almost instantaneous, the only thing that would be a problem would be Airport, which usually reconnects after sleep

Snap. And still is my sole gaming PC, as this one (my desktop) doesn't like games  "Infinite Loop" errors :(

Sacrifice the CPU for better GFX card if you have to - it's well worth it from a gaming point of view :)
