You never know, I'd expect AMD's offerings due later this year to give pricing a good shake up.

Btw I'm not defending the obscene pricing but it is nice to see it dropping, even if only slight.

Surely the price dropping has to be a good thing even for the AMD fans as that will mean that when AMD finally get round to releasing something they will only have to price match a slightly cheaper 780 rather than the rather expensive one.

Price dropping usually indicates a product is not selling as well as it should be which isn't a surprise tbh.

Well, US launch the 780 at $650 on average, which is £435...plus 20% UK VAT, that' should be £522. However UK been selling it on average of £550-£650...so what do you expect?

Either Nvidia, or UK retailers think UK people are richer than US people.

780 is insanely expensive and not really justifiable except for a very small few - are any of those who were willing to pay £500+ on a GPU really likely to be excited about a discount?

As for the Antec... it was looking dated 5 years ago when I got mine for £40, to be at the same price point with barely an upgrade to the basic chassis in that time it's not worth £39... that case needs to be retired.
