Little question about dpi settings...

My current mouse, a cm storm sentinel advance, some games especially fps games, I have to drop the dpi down to around 1200 for it to be playable, otherwise the mouse moves far too fast. Is this the same with all high dpi mice?

It's annoying as I have to switch the dpi back up to 5600 to navigate menus or overlays.

Good price.

The idea is to leave the DPI high on the mouse and turn down game mouse sensitivity.

So what exactly does extreme DPI do? I thought upto some value (depends on your monitor resolution), the mouse can be accurate enough? Maybe there is a sweet point for mouse DPI, anything above that is just waste of money? I may be wrong.

People like different DPI settings, personally for 1080 I like 4000 DPI on my mouse.
Depends on how quick you want your cursor to travel.

Anyway good price on that mouse :)

But it doesn't include your other parts when it inevitably goes pop and takes your gear with it.

Been running one of these in my stepson's PC for a year or two and it's been faultless - was Q6600@3GHz with 4870, now [email protected] with 5770. This PSU might not be suitable for crossfired 7970's, but for any mainstream machine I'd be much happier running this PSU over the no-name others at this price.

Indeed, though it won't have the quality and efficiency of an Enermax Platimax PSU, it's a cheap upgrade from a far worse PSU in most pre built PCs.

Just what I did with the mother's computer. Works better than any bestec model, far quieter and that warrant can be a lifesaver.

I'm kind of tempted to do this with my parents computer- you know it's a dodgy PSU when it is unpainted silver with no branding and simply states '250W Peak power' on it.
