Dominator is Corsair’s ultra high-performance computer memory solution. Dominator modules use highly screened DRAM to guarantee maximum performance and overclockability. They’re designed with Corsair's exclusive DHX+ conductive and convective cooling technology and deliver enhanced reliability, stability and performance even under punishing conditions.

Each Dominator memory module is built using DRAM chips that have been individually screened so that only the best chips remain. The result is memory with serious overclocking capability.

Dominator memory supports the Intel XMP (Extreme Memory Profile) standard, and each module is individually factory-programmed with an XMP profile indicating supported timing, frequency and voltages. Just enable XMP on your compatible motherboard and you’ll automatically get optimized memory overclocking without having to deal with multiple BIOS settings. Of course, if you’re an experienced overclocker, you can always adjust the settings on your own to push for even higher overclocking performance.

State-of-the-art cooling efficiency is essential for high-performance memory. Our DHX+ technology uses specially designed, high-quality heatsinks and a custom-designed PCB that cools the front and rear of the DRAM chips as well as the printed circuit board itself.

There's a reason why world-champion overclockers, extreme gaming enthusiasts and high-end system builders all trust Corsair for high-performance memory that they can install with confidence and pride. Whether you're breaking your own records or you're simply building a dream gaming rig, you can count on Corsair memory.

That is a cracking PSU deal for somebody that was looking to get one :D It says "Detachable Modular Cables" so its not fully modular? What cables are permanent?

I couldn't find any reviews of this specific model but one video review of the 650w version mentioned it was the core power cables that were hardwired. These would be the 20+4pin motherboard cable as well as the 4+4pin cpu power cable (which, of course, also plugs into the motherboard).

I'm tempted to buy 4 of the Vengeance 8GB kits for lols.... Mostly because they're so cheap right now...

Although I'd much prefer it if they made a LP White 8GB module xD

I have this one which i bought for nearly £130 from ocuk. The permanent cables are the ones needed for to run the system. But there are two motherboard power cables. One with 8pin and one with 4+4 pin which is pointles to do imho. They could have just put in one 4+4.

Grrr, i thought this would be the case. Same as what i have on my OCZ Z-series 850W, its so stupid... how many ppl need 2 8pin connectors, of those how many of them need 850w or less???

I might just wait for there to be a deal on the Corsair AX850 *hint hint* :p
