I did, just to satisfy my curiousity! Well worth it, still has resale value as well. I didn't trust the cooler for xfire though and went with the IceQ.
 
Is this card a worthy upgrade from a gtx 460 1gb

Purely IMO of course but I don't think it would give a big enough jump in performance. I went from a 460 to a 2gb 670 and nearly doubled my frame rates. I'd be looking at said 670 or 7950 which are epic value ATM. I paid over £300 for my 670!

Just looked and the 760's are better value than the 670's! You can get a Gigabyte Windforce 760 for under £200. It would be that or 7950 for me if you can spend the extra.

Agree with above. A 7950 would be a great upgrade for a GTX460. A 7850 to be fair would still be a reasonable upgrade especially when overclocked but the difference isn't going to be huge.
