Rams cheap, however seems to be a rise in RAM prices recently. anyone know why? has there been a flood or something and caused the issue there was with HDD's last year?

think it has been mentioned that a chip manufacturer went bust due to the low prices, that alone has driven the prices up slightly and i think others have reduced production volume, thus further increasing prices, to try and inflate the prices to stop them going the same way!

never even thought of this.
Sad to see businesses go under but its dog eat dog, people want stuff at the cheapest rate possible, sometimes it just isnt viable to produce the products at the demanded price anymore.
Hope the market steadies itself out again soon!
